About Us

Greystones Medical Centre

We recognise the need to respond to the demands of our patients as quickly as possible. It is therefore our promise to provide an efficient service, dealing quickly and accurately with the needs of our patients. Treating acute and chronic illnesses, our practice provides preventive care and health education for all ages and both sexes. Our knowledge base continues to expand with new advancements in medicine, and our promise is to continue this development with you, our patient, in mind.

It is important to have a family GP that you are happy with, one that you can rely on, and one that knows your family history inside out. This will increase the chance of a fast diagnosis and therefore result in quicker treatment for the patient. Simply call us to arrange an appointment and we will be delighted to see you. Greystones Medical Centre has  been serving the local community for over 35 years. We have a range of services on offer to address the needs of patients of all ages from birth to the older years! We are a University Affiliated (UCD/RCSI) teaching practice.

Our Nurses



Nurse Celine Timmons (Midwife)
Nurse Audrey Clayton (Midwife)

Celine and Audrey form our great nursing/midwifery team, located on the ground floor in the Nurses Suite, they provide a wide and varied Nursing Services at our new Greystones Medical Centre on the Mill road. Opening from 8am until 6pm, Nursing Services include: Phlebotomy/ STI Screening, Blood Pressure checks, 24 hour Blood Pressure monitoring, Spirometry, Wound management, ECG recording, Ear lavage, Travel Vaccines/ Travel Advice and general health promotion.

Both nurses are registered smeartakers with The National Cervical Screening Programme and invite all eligible women to attend for a free smear test.

Other dedicated nurse-led clinics include an Under 6 Asthma Management Programme and a Diabetic Clinic. The Diabetic Clinic is open to all individuals that have Type II Diabetes and carry a valid medical card.

In addition, Greystones Medical Centre is delighted to offer Midwifery-led Antenatal Care. From bump to baby, Celine and Audrey will carefully monitor the growth and well being of your precious bundle. Once born, babies attend the nurse/midwife for a free health check at 2 weeks of life. At 2 months of age, the immunisation schedule begins.

The Nursing/Midwifery Team extend a warm welcome to you and will endeavour to meet your needs. We look forward to caring for you and your family for many years to come.

Our admin staff endeavour to help you in a prompt and professional manner.

They are all experienced and will deal with any queries with sensitivity and in total confidence.

NEW URGENT CARE GP SERVICE

We would like to advise our patients that the doctors in Greystones Medical Centre are participating in E Doc, which is the new urgent care service providing extended GP care at nights and weekends. Available between 6pm and 8am Mon-Fri and 24 hours at weekends and bank holidays. Phone 01 2234500.
